What does the Japanese Intellectual and Cultural Diversity Exchange Program entail?
JECI regularly hosts cultural and intellectual events featuring visits from Japanese professionals in academia and industry to India. These events occur throughout the year and showcase the art and culture of Japan. The performers include Japanese students specializing in art and culture from various academic institutions, such as schools, colleges, and vocational institutes, representing the future talents of Japan. These enthusiastic young artists eagerly perform in front of students in India. Additionally, Japanese professional performers occasionally join these programs. Indian students and professionals engaged in Japanese art and culture will also take part to showcase their talents and knowledge in the realm of Japanese art and culture. These events have a lasting impact on students, as they are educational in nature, conducted within educational institutes, contrasting with events organized primarily for commercial purposes.
