JECI & Ritsumeikan Keisho Junior and Senior High School Visit DAV Group of Schools, Chennai | April 24–28, 2025
Between April 24–28, 2025, officials from the Japan Education Center and Information (JECI) and Ritsumeikan Keisho Junior and Senior High School, Japan, undertook a significant visit to the DAV Group of Schools in Chennai. This historic engagement marks the beginning of a promising trilateral collaboration between JECI, Ritsumeikan Keisho, and the DAV Group—one of Tamil Nadu’s most prestigious educational networks.
The highlight of the visit was the announcement of an upcoming three-month-long, science-focused student exchange program set to launch this summer. This initiative will see students and faculty from both countries participating in reciprocal visits, fostering international understanding, joint research, and cross-cultural learning. The exchange will promote hands-on scientific inquiry and educational innovation, preparing students to become globally minded, future-ready leaders.
During their visit, the delegation explored multiple DAV campuses, including DAV Boys Senior Secondary School in Gopalapuram, DAV Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Gill Nagar, DAV Co-Ed School in Pallikaranai, and the Vedic Vidya Niketan in Pondicherry. Each institution reflects the DAV Group’s commitment to educational excellence, blending traditional Indian values—particularly Vedic wisdom—with a progressive, modern curriculum.
